Question:

Can we report 0558T with codes detailing CT or CTA of the chest?

Answer:

Code 0558T describes a scan taken for the purpose of performing biomechanical computed tomography analysis, therefore, code 0558T should not be reported with codes describing CT or CTA of the chest, spine, abdomen and pelvis. Be sure to check the CPT® manual for a complete listing of codes not to be reported with code 0558T.
