Question:

When do we assign code 0631T?

Answer:

Assign Category III code 0631T when transcutaneous visible light hyperspectral imaging measurement of oxyhemoglobin, deoxyhemoglobin, and tissue oxygenation is performed. This code, however, should not be used in conjunction with 94760–94762 (non-invasive ear or pulse oximetry for oxygen saturation).
