National Quality Forum (NQF) issued two new reports this week that provide guidance to advance health information technology, with the intent of making healthcare more effective and safer for all Americans. The agency’s first report identifies critical areas where measurement can effectively assess the quality and impact of telehealth services. In the second report, NQF assesses the current state of interoperability and its impact on quality processes and outcomes.
