When would you report 88184 and 88185 vs 88187-88189?
Report 88184 for the first marker and +88185 once for each additional marker. For example, if 10 markers were performed, bill 88184 once and 88185 × 9. Codes 88187, 88188, and 88189 are intended to describe flow cytometry interpretation. Select the appropriate code based on the number of markers interpreted. Documentation of each marker interpretation is required.
