Washington—A bill to focus on process issues faced by hospitals and health systems in dealing with the recovery auditor program has been introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives.
The bill, which has the endorsement of the American Hospital Association, among other professional organizations, is the Medicare Audit Improvement Act of 2012 (H.R. 6575). It was introduced yesterday by U.S. Representatives Sam Graves (R-MO) and Adam Schiff (D-CA).
